Gluten Free Caramel Slice

Gluten Free Caramel Slice
Ingredients
125g butter
100g organic rapadura sugar (or 120g brown sugar or raw organic sugar)
40g organic coconut flour (or 120g gluten free flour)
80g organic, preservative free coconut or quinoa flakes
2 tins condensed milk (I used the aldi brand as it is preservative free)
125g butter
2 tablespoons organic maple syrup (or golden syrup)
150g organic, dark, dairy free chocolate
1. Preheat oven to 180. Line a 20 x 30 tray with baking paper.
2. Melt butter. Add sugar, flour and coconut and mix well to combine. Spread on base of tin and bake for 15 minutes. Set aside to cool.
3. Pour condensed milk, butter and syrup into a saucepan. Cook in a saucepan over a moderate heat until butter melts, then pour over base. Bake for 20 minutes or to touch. Set aside to cool for 3 hours.
4. Melt chocolate and pour over slice. Refrigerate until set. Slice and serve.
