The day had finally arrived. After months of planning and coded messages it was time for 'operation surprise tony'. And did we surprise him! It took quite a bit of time for it all to sink in. It started with Jas taking Tony for a drive. When they came home Karen, Paul, Isaac and Aaron were there. Cue crying. Then we thought we should tell him about the party to give him time to settle. Cue crying again- and perhaps an ambulance. We thought we should show him the cake. Cue crying. After that it was time for the party guests to arrive and the party to begin. I think Tony and Lyn had a great time. It was so nice to be able to bless someone so important to us in such a grand way. Lynny tells us she doesn't want a surprise 70th next year but we'll see. What are you up to on the 11th November 2012? Party anyone???

| Birthday Cake- a 1/2 slab chocolate sponge. We had the photo printed onto edible paper from a place called customicing.com.au. I highly recommend them! |
