We headed off mid morning for 2 weeks at Noosa. After a stop for lunch at McDonalds in Brisbane, we arrived at Noosa in the early afternoon.
The kids couldn't wait to have a spa so it was off to the spa for a while. Then time to head to Noosa Junction for groceries.

Today was time to head to Noosa Civic for morning tea at the coffee club and to take a sneak peak at the Big W toy sale.
After lunch we headed to the park for a play.

The weather wasn't so nice today so we decided to head to Kawana Waters for some shopping. I had a Sussan voucher to spend. We also decided to upgrade our phones. This seemed like a good idea at the time. It took over 4 hours at JB Hi-Fi- the kids were so super patient. By the end of it we were all over it though.
Friday 1st July 2011
Nana & Grandad arrived for the weekend early this morning. As is tradition, we headed out to the park with coffee from Moon Doggies. It was quite windy at the park so we didn't stay for long.
We had a spa and lazy afternoon and night. Ah... don't you love holidays?
Saturday 2nd July 2011
What a beautiful day for a walk along the river- after coffee at the bakery first! We learnt a very valuable lesson today- always be prepared. And don't expect boys to stay clean and dry around water. What was to be a walk along the river turned into a wet, sandy play time. Kaleb and Joel had so much fun- too much to stop them- I will just be better prepared next time.
After lunch, while Joel & Bethany slept, Kaleb went fishing with Nana & Grandad. No catches but lots of bites and lots of fun.
Uncle Alan & Aunty Gail came from Buderim for Thai takeout for dinner.

Surprise! Surprise! It was time for coffee along the river- this time for late morning tea. Then fish and chips for lunch. This time I was more prepared as the boys played in the river.
Monday 4th July 2011
Today we visited the Ginger Factory for lunch and got to taste test at the new chocolate factory that is there. We also went to Noosa Civic for Cars 2 cars for the boys.

The kids were all up early this morning!
We spent the morning along the river, drink coffee, playing in the sand and water, and fishing. Jas caught 2 small brim in the time we were there.

Wednesday 6th July 2011
It was a beautiful day at Noosa today. Bethany had a spa with us and liked it very much.
We shouted ourselves a lovely lunch at Grenny's today- it was nice to be able to go out as a family and enjoy a beautiful meal with little fuss- even Bethany was happy.

When we got back to the unit the spa was closed for maintenance so we decided to head to Noosa Heads for a walk along the beach. Once again I should have been more prepared as a walk along the beach turned into playtime in the sand and ocean. We had no beach towels or clothes so had to resort to the picnic rug and towel that covers the car seats. The boys had fun though.

Coffee and donuts at Noosa Junction followed by shopping at Target Country- I love their end of season sales and picked up some great clothes for Bethany and Joel for next winter.
Jas and Kaleb went fishing after lunch. They didn't catch anything but saw a sting ray.
Friday 8th July 2011
The pool was still closed this morning so we headed to Noosa Beach. Morning Tea on the beach with time to swim and play. The water was much colder today then the other afternoon.
It was India for tea tonight- butter chicken, lamb rogan josh and beef korma. A perfect end to a perfect holiday.
Saturday 9th July 2011
It was time to head home today- we had an early start- got away from Noosa with only a couple of moments at around 8am. Again we stopped at McDonalds in Brisbane for a coffee and then had a break in Toowoomba. We got back to the chilly Dalby at 6pm. Ah, to be at Noosa again.
