21 Day Healthy Living Program

I started Cyndi O'Meara's 21 Day Healthy Living Program on Sunday and am feeling fantastic. Today is day 5 and the chocolate withdrawals have stopped and I am not feeling nearly as hungry as I was for the past few days. Not that it is a deprivation program at all. You can eat as much as you want- just of the things that she 'prescribes'. You can see more info about this at the Changing Habits website http://changinghabits.com.au/healthy_weight_loss.



Day One- shopping day- getting all the things you need for the first week of the program.
Day Two-
  • Breakfast- fresh fruit (pieces or juice) and one boiled egg OR protein shake (I chose the fruit and egg)
  • Lunch- chicken and salad sandwich- free range chicken with a salad of lettuce, carrot, avocado and tomato, seasoned with salt and pepper and home made salad dressing. (No bread for me)
  • Afternoon Tea- at least 2 pieces of fruit and 12 almonds
  • Dinner- fish with potato mash and salad- I had chicken as I couldn't find any fresh fish. Potato mash was made with real butter and milk. Salad was lettuce, carrot, tomato, avocado, grated beetroot and feta cheese.
The program pretty much repeats itself everyday after that, with different snack options- veggie sticks and home made dips, and different dinner recipes.

I am really enjoying it and feeling so much better for it. Bring on day 21 I say!
