I (Shelley) was mowing the lawn today and came across a most unwelcomed sight- that of a shed snake skin- right behind our front gate. It definetly was not something expected to see nor really wanted to think about. Snakes come and go pretty quickly but if it had time to shed it's skin in our yard I think it overstayed it's welcome. Thankfully the snake was long gone, and after a while I plucked up the courage to get the snake skin as Kaleb wanted it, before finishing the mowing. The skin is in three main pieces but together measures more than a metre- a baby one I know but still too big for my liking!
