Today we went for our first trip to Brisbane from Warwick. We meet up with the Lange's who had a quick trip down for the AFL last night. We all headed to Southbank by foot and spent a couple of hours playing, exploring, eating and checking out the markets! We then bid them farewell as they had to head home, and we headed off to Ikea. Kaleb was very excited about going to the BIG shopping centre and wanted to go shopping by himself- or without mummy at least- because last time he went shopping without mummy he got lego! We were able to convince him that mummy should come, and that he should stay with us- and made sure of that by putting him in a trolley. All he wanted was toys- so he was very disappointed when no toys were purchased. We bought a few bits and pieces and then headed home. The boys slept the whole way home which indicates that it was a very fun day!
It was lovely to see the Lange's and spend time playing. Thanks for the krispy creme donuts too!
