Bethany- 14 weeks!

This week Bethany has started to talk and laugh a lot more and just loves it if you sit with her and have a chat. She seems to be settling into some sort of routine around school (her old routine has been thrown into chaos with school runs etc) and is mostly happy regardless.

Bethany- 3 months old!

Our precious little girl is now 3 months old.
She smiles and chats a lot and has a little laugh too.
She loves her brothers and the attention that she gets from them.

Kaleb lost another tooth!

Kaleb lost his second tooth tonight. It wasn't as exciting this time as last but he is getting a collection of his teeth now!

Afternoon at the Bunya's

We spent a lovely afternoon at the Bunya Mountains with mum and dad. We enjoyed lunch at a little coffee shop where we sampled some different cuisine- Jas had kangaroo sausages, mum had lemon myrtle chicken and dad and I sampled some Bunya nuts with our meals. They tasted and looked like potato wedges.
Then it was down to the mountain for a stroll to the waterfall- Kaleb tired sooner than Joel- but both boys loved the adventure while Bethany slept in the sling.
Chocolate brownie and iced tea for afternoon tea- then it was time to head home. We will have to do it again. It is only a 40 minute drive from Dalby although I am not such a fan of windy roads.

Nana Lyn had these 3 special outfits of Aunty Karen's in the cupboard and thought it would be nice to see Bethany in them. I think one outfit is some pj's, one a special dress, and the other Karen's baptism outfit but I'll have to double check.

Kaleb lost his first tooth!

Kaleb lost his first tooth today- with the help of daddy. He was so excited and has kept the tooth in a container hoping to be able to take it for show and tell next week. After so many years of trying to protect and preserve his teeth it is quite strange to see nature take its course. Jas wants to know when we should expect refunds from the dentist!

Happy 9th Anniversary

We celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary today! As you can imagine, we had a quite dinner for two (maybe next year)! It was a nice day none the less.

We discovered this week that Bethany likes to suck her hands (that explains the sucking blister she had on her hand when she was born) and to have time with her nappy off.
