Joel's trip to the Hospital

Sunday 13th December 2009

Poor Joel had his first trip to the Emergency Ward at the Hospital today after he hit his lip on a step at church and majorly busted it open- ouch! The poor little thing had such a fat lip as it broke the lip on the inside and outside. Although the Hospital and Doctor couldn't do much, it was reassuring to have him taken care of. They don't stitch lips but if they did he would have been in for a few stitches. Thankfully it is already looking 100% better as the swelling has gone down and the lip is looking much more normal now... First of many busters no doubt, but still not nice all the same.

Kid's Church Break Up

Sunday 13th December

Today was the Kid's Church Break-Up. It began with the kids doing a Christmas Play and some singing, then it was time for Jumping Castle, Sno-Cones, Water Slides, Sausage Sizzle and plenty of games.

Kaleb did a great job as a Shepherd and then in the play. He shouted out his line "He gave us his own son Jesus" for all to hear.

Nana & Grandad came out for the afternoon which made it even more special- then Kaleb had his first sleepover at Nana & Grandad's without mummy!

Last day of Kindy

Tuesday 8th December 2009

Today was Kaleb's last morning at Kindy and it was a special Christmas Party. The kids played for a while, then did a concert of their favourite songs from the year, followed by morning tea with lots of yummy treats that aren't usually allowed at Kindy. It was then present time and time to say goodbye. I almost made it through the whole morning without crying... until Kaleb's teacher started crying when they sang the goodbye song... then there were tears all around.

Kaleb has grown up so much in the time he spent at Kindy and it has certainly been a blessing for him. He has made some special friends who we will definetly be playing with again.

But now... it's off to Prep... (time for more tears for mum...)!
