Grandad Max's sister Rene turned 100 on Friday. On Saturday there was a party in Warwick to celebrate this most momentous occasion. We met up with all of the family who are in Warwick (future baby sitters???), and will definetly go visiting the farms in Freestone soon. Kaleb's not so keen to go milking the cows though...

Grandad Max (right) with Rene, and Uncle Bert. They are the only surviving children out of 11. Rene being the oldest, and Max being the youngest. Max is now determiend that he'll also make 100- can't let his sister out do him. Only 20 years to go Grandad!

Well, the time has come to celebrate Joel's first birthday. It is hard to believe that he is one already. I still remember driving to St Vinnie's on Monday 14th at 5.30am for him to be deliviered. Where has all that time gone?

SO... to begin celebrations we had a small party in Warwick. Although Joel had a good time, Kaleb had more fun opening Joel's presents and playing with them that he did. (Good thing Kaleb is back at Kindy today- Joel will get a chance to play with his new toys!).

After playing with the DS all weekend, the boys decided that they should buy a Wii. We have had a lot of fun with it already and have spent most nights playing it together. Much more entertaining than anything I've seen on TV lately.

Kaleb has really picked it up so quickly and does better than mum!

The Lange's visit Warwick!

Saturday 4th, Sunday 5th, Monday 6th July 2009

The Lange's took a quick trip to cold Warwick for the baptism of a friend of theirs. They weren't at all impressed with the cold weather, considering the day before they were in shorts and t-shirts in sunny Mackay. We had a most wonderful weekend with them and really enjoyed their company. It was a special treat to have them as guests in our home.

The 4 boys played well together, although sharing the same bedroom didn't seem to be the best sleeping arrangement for the 3 older ones. Lego, AFL and Nintendo DS's keep them ammused.

We hope that they come back sometime for another sleepover- or maybe we should head north!!!
